Have you ever imagined that someday in the future you might have to pay for air to live on, which has long been considered available for free. The picture warns us of the environment that is getting worse and the high price we would have to pay for it if we just stood by.

Protecting the environment is of significant importance. Nowadays, environmental problems that are getting worse and worse are among the sources of the sharp change in climate and the frequent occurrence of natural disasters. Many diseases people suffer from are attributed to the worsening environment, such as lung cancer which is reportedly closely related to air pollution. It is no doubt that the earth is the only planet for us to live on and will be in the many years to come. Everything that is needed for human survival justifies the protection of the enviornment. 

Protecting the environment is more important than ever before. No one hopes to wear a mask to protect themselves from being poisoned when going out.  Can you imagine a life in which clean air would become a luxury and you would have to work hard to pay for clean air?Should there be no clean air on earth, would we have a spring with a variety of blooming flowers? To keep the earth green and healthy, the government should direct and supervise industries’ activities, motivating all the people in the society to fight for the earth and our healthy life.
